Ingredients:
For the dough:- 2 whole eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- Milk
- Active sourdough starter
- Sugar
- Salt
- White flour
- Select Club Pecan Praline Whisky
- Toasted Pecans
- Dry yeast
- Vegetable/Canola oil
For glaze:
- Powdered sugar
- Select Club Pecan Praline Whisky
- Salt
- Pecans
Method:
- Combine the liquid mixture, sourdough starter, yeast, sugar, salt, flour and Whisky.
- Slowly add your butter and pecans
- Knead this dough and let it sit for at least 5-8 hours
- Place in the fridge 8-12 hours
- Cut and roll into donut shapes then bake for 4 hours
- Fry for 3 min on each side or until done
- Mix your glaze from powdered sugar, whisky and salt - whisk until smooth
- Let cool then top with glaze and chopped pecans
